There are many threads on this topic. Just wait it out, it will be fixed. When you die, press main menu instead of respawn. That way you can join the server again and spectate.

Do you honestly think that they would deliberately implement something so that people couldn't play on their servers? That makes absolutely no sense. That is a BUG and they are attempting to fix it. Be patient and wait until they do, and stop complaining.
