Hi I just wanted to ask you what you think of the New Map
Is it better or worse than excpected? Good facts Bad fact please

First Game: So much lags, found like 6 chests had leather stuff... No Tier 2 chest
After a while I found a team with narly full iron and one had diamond swor... i was like ffs
As i have seen first screenshots i thought it couldnt be good if its snowso i hoped that its at least playable... but the snowhight is a bit curious so i thought --> worse than SG1 (And i am not the biggest fan of SG1) But after playing 4 games or 5 and winning 2 othe, I have to say its better than i thought before playing although the spawn sucks.... but its ok, not the best Map, no Tier 2 chests(I found none) :/
And the Houses are to big in my opinion... We will see in the next week what the others think about this Map, but I heard that most people dont like SG5.
Hope I will have always fun at SG5 soon.

The first time I played it I got a stone sword from corn and had a team with TorchScar and we won

I played for a few hours last night. I didn't get to play it once.

I did download it though and it looks very nice. Seeing huge buildings everywhere is boring, but the amount of detail in them is pretty damn fantastic. I especially love how some buildings are outside of the dome. Little details like that are always impressive

No it isn't. It WILL be skipped in favor of Breeze or SG 4.

While I've only played one game on here, personally I feel that it could become my favorite map, surpassing even SG 2. I love the theme, and was actually thinking of making a similar map before this came out. The corn is absolutely ingenious, and is a perfect equalizer in both Deathmatch and a race for chests (as well as making it much more difficult to defend corn from attacks from above!). The buildings are fantastic (though I do disapprove of the large empty buildings reminiscent of those in SG 2). The two main complaints I've heard about the map are: Too laggy, and the snow half blocks make running weird. However, I have found this map to be the least laggy of all the maps (though, then again, I never experience FPS lag, just server side), and I think the concept of running through snow is brilliantly executed. It is different than any other map, and it's pulled off with aplomb.

My two complaints about the map would be the lack of tier two chests, and the fact that there are some areas that are just TOO empty (though the general feeling of emptiness greatly adds to the atmosphere).

I love this map... But it NEVER gets played. It's always skipped over Breeze and SG 4 which is annoying as they are overplayed as hell. When is first saw the map i instantly knew it was amazing. I found a couple of chests and managed to win. Played 2 more found a chest route and won aswell. Haven't played since. -.-

There are chests just sitting out in the middle of no where so it is easy to win on it. I would have won ever time but my game always says "minecraft is out of memory"

I dont like that there are no tier 2 chests excet at spawn... That mean who has luck at spawn nearly has on :/

I love the map, i do notice the lack of tier two chests, how i rank all vareides maps (the first are the best):SG2 SG3/SG5 <---(equal) SG1 SG 4. sg4 is terrible to play on, lame games, almost no terraforming, although it is EASY to win on, its not very funny :/. and i don't like that meanie who lit the huge brick house on fire, causing massive lag-spikes for some people (☞ ﾟヮﾟ)☞
