Iron swords only do a half heart less than Diamond ones.

Not true. Just earlier today, I snuck up on somebody with a diamond sword, and I had an iron one. I killed him and won the game.

Way back in beta, when the chests would refill in spawn, they would have full diamond armor and a diamond sword. If you think just a diamond sword is too OP, then you should have played in beta.
