Just like in real life, there are going to be interferences.

A separate server for clans would make clan battles drastically different, it removes an aspect of the game in 'clanspeak' known as the randy.

'Randy's' are a big part of the game, teams are as well, we can't exactly get rid of teams because there will always be loopholes and the ones involving teams, I think, are too large.
I will say that it is a problem, just has no definitive solution.

On the other hand, the #1 spot, which teams seem to be going for, is still reasonably reachable, so will this issue die down? Possibly, but with it goes down the 'fun' in tryharding for the top (yes that's fun for some people, video games for yah) and with it requires playing with others to have fun. I really don't know what we can do about teams that will drastically change the servers in an undesirable manner, I can't see a way out.

On to trash talking and filters, there is an ingame screen shot mechanism that you can use to report people, just open chat, and screenie the words.

Well you might say, this isn't conclusive evidence! Well, any trash talk isn't interpreted easily across the internet and through computer screens, so any trash talk could be serious. Thus should land you in a punishment that makes the person think about their actions, not permanent, because they may have been joking. But it makes them be more aware about what they say.

As with the clans-being-less-staff-and-more-community, I agree. But the referees should be as unbiased as possible, because, they are the referee! :p Most likely the reason why mods step in is because they can be trusted by the people running the server, to be fair.

These problems are very real, I understand that much, and hopefully the staff team does too, but who knows where solutions can be accessed.

Here I go, about to sound redundant and useless but change is coming.

Alright, what does that mean? Some quick background to this. I've been a mod here for 10 months. I've attended meetings, seen the Sr. Staff go through changes in numbers and staffers, and the like, and given my experience with the network prior to being on the staff added on to my experience while in the staff I can say that change here is likely to come. The fact that not only moderators are discussing things and getting stuff going, but the fact that we seem to be getting through and provoking discussion to the administration makes me think that things are coming soon.

One thing I wish to be improved is the overall communication between the moderation, Sr. Staff, and administration. There seems to be a lot of secrecy, some for good reason, but others if communicated better with everyone I believe could lead to much better efficiency and things we promise to get done could get done much quicker.

Again, I'm not an admin so there are many things I don't know but from the opinion and hopes from a moderator things are coming.

:^))))
With that communication problem you spoke of, you're missing one key thing that would better benefit the entire network. You can't just have a good communication between the moderation, Sr. Staff, and administration. You need communication from the people. So often I see people with great ideas and amazing propositions, but it seems they are ignored by the staff. Instead of the staff doing their own thing and do what they mostly feel is better for the community, actually connect with us. Ask us how we're doing, ask us what we want. Next time you guys go and make a promise for change don't wait 5 months like you did with the stat reset. I lost all confidence within the entire staff when that wasn't delivered for months; let's not forget all those issues we had with staff sitting around in Hub 8.

The Staff needs to communicate with us, the players on this network. We are the reason this server is still a thing. Listen to the community so you know what is actually good for it.

I implied that in my response, but guess I didn't make it clear. Basically, since the community is the base of our network, we need to be more efficient in responding to popular suggestions and making sure that if we do make a decision, it's a good one and the acceptance or denial of said idea is the right way to go for the network. Not every popular idea can be implemented but I like where things are going at the moment.

I respect that response. You are most likely the best moderator on this server, in my opinion of course. I just hope you're not lying to us when you say change is coming. I was surprised that even you noticed how you need to respond more to popular suggestions; but if you notice it then bring it up. I'm sure you have tried, but do what you need to so this community can be better. I can see that you want to help steer us in a positive direction.

I hope I'm not lying either because from what I know and what I hope, things will be here :^]

I see one of the key points of that thread was mentioning how teams rarely exceeded of members above three. However, this study was taken back in September, about 8-9 months ago. Times have changed in that long amount of time. One big change is the stat reset which took place not to long ago, this effected the amount of teams immensely. I have never seen as many complaints about teams before the reset as I have after it. This change, which was brought about a short while ago, will greatly affect the statistics of that study if it were taken today.

I think you should re read the thread, as that is not at all what he says...

As some of you might recall, back in September, I did a study on just how common teaming, trashtalk, and hackers were in Survival Games. (You can view the old thread here.) However, that data is getting quite dated, and with the recent Leaderboard Update, is relatively inaccurate. So, about a week ago, I collected 50 games to observe and collect data from. The data I collected is the same as the previous study, but I'll repeat them again:

Goodness, I just re-read every part of the thread.

Quick thing, as you are a moderator, I trust you have taken notice to the forums and players in game. Surely you have noticed the great amount of all the

"Teaming is Unfair" "Ban Teamers" "Teaming"

Surely you've seen how many of these threads are out there as I have.

I've seen a lot of those threads, but i haven't seen too many actual teams. I have also seen a lot of threads suggesting separate servers for clans.
