Because other peoples must read the clan rules and look at the clan roster in clan wars.

If I have a Spanish clan, Spanish-speaking people will come and know that it is a Spanish clan. If all threads were English, how would they know if the people in the clan spoke Spanish? They would have to go through every clan thread and translate it, hoping to find one that is mainly Spanish. It's more of a pain than anything.

Right. So translating the thread to English would likely throw people off and not give an accurate representation of the majority of the clan.

We like diversity. Forcing players to write in a certain language would be pretty bad.
