Donations and the reason they suck a little

I agree with the whole donate to upgrade thing to keep the server running, it makes sense, but seriously? $10 per month just to get iron membership? i think it is dumb that it's only for one month, and it has stopped me from purchasing one because I'm extremely intrigued about the whole survival games thing, but they're taking advantage of the fact that they own the best servers out there. It's like a minecraft monopoly. I would like to know if there is anyone else out there that agrees with me.

Ten dollars a month is a great deal. Don't complain about it. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Im just saying, I'm going to donate, I just think $10 is a lot because if you don"t donate then there is no chance of you getting in a game because everyone has donated, i just wanted to try it out, but in order to do that i have to pay and i truly doubt all of you are donating to help instead of "get"

may I point out Xbox Live is a professional network with huge servers and is worldwide, and it costs like half what MCSG charges.

*Facepalm* The reason Xbox Live charges less is because they have a much larger audience to sell to. Mcsg doesn't get any where close to the amount of purchases that Xbox live does. The more and more customers you have the easier it is to lower the price (more people will buy this way). Xbox is a huge company with many resources as compared to mcsg which is a fraction of the size .

But the thing is, almost everyone pays on Xbox live, only a portion of this community donates

Get in early. Simple as that. Donators keep the servers running. These servers are extremely expensive. What else are the donor's going to get? If you give them starting items, it's not fair. It's fine as it is

Yes, I am sure over a million people have donated.

If you don't want to donate, thats fine. If you can't afford it, that's fine! If you hate being kicked, get into the server earlier. MCSG donation prices have been there almost since the begining, when we WERN'T popular, so that makes your point invalid.

Point is: Don't have a cry because you got kicked or you can't afford $10 to help the servers you obviously enjoy playing on.
