Seen so many people do it, so whatever #yoloswagmuffins. c:
To know everything about me, we have to start before the beginning.
I'm an Admin on a semi-popular server, which has a great community, but alas was starting to get boring after a year. I wanted a new challenge, so I decided to take the path of PvP. I trained on that one server, seeing as I get less than 100 MS to it because it's hosted near me. I dominated everyone, I wanted more of a challenge, so I started weekly PvP tournaments on that server, I gave everyone the advantage. Hell, they even had a team of 3 with enchanted diamond stuff v me in full diamond.
Still not fun, that server wasn't meant for PvP.
Then I found MCSG, I started on US and got no-where, I then probably quit for a month, came back and found the AU servers. I thought 'Why not? Would be fun. c:'. So basically I started Skyping with two of my friends from that old server, who I introduced to here. Their names where Elliotbby and ILoveYou10. We started complete noobs, not knowing routes, not knowing anything really. Our only strategy was really go to corn, get stuff, run around together and find chests, give me the weapon and hope we could win.
As you see, that was pretty terrible. .-.
Around the time I started forming bad chest-routes. I could then use my full leather and stone sword to try and win the games. I relied on my PvP skills which I thought where insane, apparently not.
This is when I found two pros at the time, LeWilmon and Tdog. They had skill, and alot of it. I then asked them. 'Hey guys, would you like a team? c:' And they actually said yes, and they invited me to their Skype call. We played lots of games together and I learnt alot, instead of being their little noob with 9 wins, I'd grown to their little noob with 50 wins, within a week. I was actually on top of the world, I could kill pros I could thrash 3 man teams and have plenty of health left, again to take off into another fight. In the time, I was probably one of the best in AU.
Also, along the way I met one of the previous top 3 in Australia, Billabongboy. c: he was one of the people who taught me better PvP skills, and strafing, etc. He always whipped me. Until I became da mlg pr0 d:
At the time I was racking wins up insanely, 50 wins grew to 100 in no time at all, but then I got bored of the game. I decided if I was going to keep playing I needed something to keep me going, which was friends. I met people like Dragontixdoesn'tevenlift and Billabongboy, Reaper140, Blakew and Brodina, alot of friends. And then I finally reached the top 10, my dream come true. I was so happy, but I still played with old friends and new friends, I was competing against Blake in races (100 wins, 200 wins, 300 wins, 400 wins, etc.) he always had the head start of about 50 wins, but it was heaps of fun. Then I grew to about 300 wins, and then it happened.
My internet died, broke, destroyed. My sweet 500 MS (Which so many people think is lag... I play fine with it.) is now a 2000 MS on average. :L. It was heartbreaking to know that I was going to go downhill from now on, which is exactly what happened.
I still racked up wins faster than most, but the amount of games won which were stolen from me because of my internet crashing, or the fact it crashes half the games I'm in. (Yes, I actually keep a list now, after a month I'm going to see how many games played were crashed.) And 2000 MS didn't help me at all.
It was also around the time my internet died I started becoming active in the forums, posting heaps, my other goal to become an Active Member.
My ratio of probably winning 1 in 2/3 games became to 1 in 5. People thought I lost my skill, but I was determined to keep going, but most of all I just enjoyed playing with my friends. And then the perfect opportunity came up for me.
The AU rebels, which I am now a leader of was a great way to make friends and play with them. I enjoy leading a clan and playing with friends, but I also enjoy going solo and listening to music now and again.
Then.. It happened.. My best forum buddy HalfSquirrel and I finally did the impossible. We counted to 500... WE HAVE DONE WHAT NO MORTAL HAS EVER ACCOMPLISHED BEFORE.
Now give us 2 hours and it will be 1000. c:
But anyway, back to my story. I'm now fifth in Australia and leader of the best AU clan, I'm aiming for the very top and I will overtake Elisha...
When I get my better router that is.
Happy Minecrafting!
