I remembered this story, back from Beta. It was very... interesting. It all started with a game.
This game was on SG1, as usual (there were the two maps at the time, SG2 and SG1), and it was quite the spectator's game. I watched as a man named John(numbers) fought and killed a team of two, by throwing both of them off a cliff. Now, this man went on to win this particular game. I joined after it finished.
The two people started hating on John in the lobby. Eventually they gathered a large team, large enough to easily kill John. Thirteen members. Most of the server was out to kill John. John had a friend in the lobby, too. Two to thirteen is not very good odds, if you calculate correctly.
My decision was made swiftly: to help John survive. My IRL friend and I joined his team of two, trying to balance out the odds more. The countdown began, and all the Anti-Johns, as we began calling them, were making plans. Most of them didn't know about his new bodyguards. We, the Johns, made for the cornucopia, managing to slip out with some iron ingots and gold armor. We made the (not nerfed) ship and the island nearby, now having full leather, some gold, and wooden and stone weapons, the Johns seemed to be able to stand their ground on the island.
Everything changed when the Fire Nation (Anti-Johns) attacked. To our terror, we watched as about ten of the original thirteen Anti-Johns started storming the bridge. They were out for blood. In a brave battle, we defeated six, while the other four fled. Most of their gear was equal or lesser than ours, so we only gained points and a few kills out of it. John's friend went down in the battle, and my friend was severely injured. We were lacking in food. John went and hid in the towers to avoid the charge of another angry mob, while my friend and I went to look for food.
In the woods, we found a prominent Anti-John. He didn't know that we had allegiance with the man he swore to kill. He followed us as we 'searched' for John. We eventually pushed him into a lava hole.
We returned to a starving John with armloads of food. We all ate and rehealed and were merry, when the next wave came out of the woods. Two people with iron chestplates and stone swords, one with a lot of gold armor and an iron sword. We felt the end creeping up on us.
They charged, dispatching my friend easily, one died of John's arrows, another (the one in gold) to my stone sword. We cornered and killed the last one. Four people remaining. The cornucopia refill was a new hope.
At the cornucopia, there was a full iron-diamond sworded full on juggernaut. Across the clearing, we saw a leather and gold armored man, recognized as the leader and founder of the Anti-Johns. He charged in at the same time we did. The juggernaut killed John, the Anti-John and I killed the jugg, and I killed the Anti-John.
I was the sole survivor. Thus concludes the most epic game of MCSG I've ever played. I think I had seven kills at the end of it, between the random people and the Anti-Johns.
If you read this whole thing, you are awesome. I just needed to get that off my chest.
