Uploading Problem

Hello, i make youtube videos but now when i got a windows 8 (i had a windows 7) i can't upload on windows live movie maker who's larger then 1,5 gb! And not longer then 15 min! Is there any free uploading programs that i can use? That is good too! Please answer and i know that this is on wrong side please direct me to the right!

I think you need a partnered account to upload a video longer than 15min and bigger than 1.5gb. I think its like this since i havent done youtube in a while. Forgive me if im wrong.

You can upload videos over 15mins depending on how many videos you have uploaded. Once you've passed the 50 videos barrier (guess, can't remember) then you are allowed to uploaded videos longer than 15mins.

As with your problem, what's the error you get when you try to upload?

Oh, WLMM..... yeah... that's a pain to use, try out some trial programs, such as Sony's Vagas Studio, Adobe's Premiere, Camtasia, there are loads of programs that you can use for at least 30days. If you need help with those programs, let me know, I've worked with a lot of them

When my account was new, and I tried to upload a video more than 15 minutes, I got an option that came up where I had to check my mobile phone for a message with a code I had to enter to enable longer uploads on my account. YouTube is so weird though, I have no idea what will happen for you. :/

I can't remember if I did that or not, lol. It just suddenly said I could upload longer videos

I didn't look at all the comments in this thread because I'm too lazy, but if no one said it yet, the fact that you must get over 50 vids to upload vids over the 15mins, is false. There is a button on the bottom when you click "upload", and you can enter your phone number and they will text you about a code which will allow vids over 15mins.
