In order to gain more respect

So, I've been thinking recently, about how the people will listen when a mod tells them to stop. I mean, duh, I'd stop if a giant red name was like "Hush hush. My ban hammer is hungry."
But, if it's just a normal, non-mod player, the spammer/abuser wont care. They just don't listen.
But!
There is a solution! In my opinion, I think there should be an option (As a mod) to have a normal-colored name. This way, any normal player could be a mod. The trolls/abusers would have to listen when someone says stop, cause, who knows, maybe they're a mod. I think this would help a lot, even if only certain mods chose for this to happen.
Anywho, just a suggestion.

Look up their name.
Make the color toggle-able.
Give them the same broadcast-like ability where everyone hears them.
(Trust me, I thought of the troll aspect too)

But how can a newer player know that this is a mod? If the guy says : Give me all your stuff or I'll ban you. The new player doesn't know that it's not a mod.

And as no mod would truly say that, no one would believe that they were a mod.

Only sr. Mods+ have the ability to do so currently.
