Flint and steel is my favorite thing ever in MCSG. I'll use iron for flint and steel rather than a sword.
This is what my hotkeys usually look like;
1. Sword
2. Bow
3/4. Food
5/6/7/8/9. Flint and Steel

Well, if they do manage to light you on fire, how does that make them noobs? Using flint and steel properly is a skill in itself. I suggest learning how to avoid and use it better.
