Can someone who is 13 be a mod?

Many people have been saying "I'm becoming a mod" when there 12, 13, and 14.
I'm just here to find the true statement is it possible to become a mod when you are 13?

It is actually, no longer possible. I've spoken to staff before, and unfortunately, it is no longer an option. You must be 15, and greatly mature at that. Their preferred age is 18+ though as Kor said

You could but your chances are extremely low. There has only been ONE exception to this rule of my knowledge. You would have to write an amazing application. I mean amazing! Sorry to rain on your parade.

Tironas11 is a mod at age 13. From what I know, he had a very good application, like Hawk62 said. You can try, but you probably won't get mod.

There are no exceptions anymore (much to my dismay...but I digress). I'm terribly sorry, but there is a very low chance of you becoming accepted for mod. However, if you still want to try, I'm not going to stop you.

Don't look at your age. Look at your personality and skill. Being a moderator isn't easy. So try proving your worth first, and not go into applications. Help some peeps, answer some questions, monitor the forums even though you aren't a moderator. Oh, and, report posts that do not go with the rules!

If you can do that, anything is possible. <3
