I am not reading this. #ReqLock, Obviously no one saw any one else's posts, therefore the same post is happening over and over. Not what I intended. The people who really don't know exactly what they are doing are the people who chase a guy for so long when they clearly won't catch up.
Running is a "strategy" in some senses. My entire strategy revolves around hit and run, and running when you need to regen is never a bad idea. Numerous times I have ran from somebody with far better stuff than me and lived, only to win the game. I have literally ran from somebody with full iron diamond sword when I had next to nothing, only to kill him later in the game, sometimes directly afterwards from the convenience of finding another strong target for him to fight. (In fact, the second happens to me all the time: Running until your chaser finds a new target allows you to either get away, or fight him when he's weak. This happens so often to me it's ridiculous.)
Instead of telling the "runners" to stop running, try catching up to them. Cut them off, cut corners, use the fishing rod to break their sprint, use arrows, get in front of them before attacking to knock them backwards, hit them into walls, set them on fire to cause flinching...and if all the above fail, you're better off finding a new target with gear for you. (unless you've got lots of stuff already and this one is particularly powerful in gear.)
Chasing people for ages is usually not the greatest idea either. You'll waste food, and precious time you could have spent getting gear from chests or other more easily reachable players. Sometimes, you will screw both the player you're chasing and yourself over.
Note: Before calling me some sort of noob who doesn't know who he's talking about, you should look me up on the leaderboards or look at any of the "your top players" threads on the forums. 2nd best win/lose ratio (not counting bobbytown) in the top 100 US. Normally I'm not one to brag, nor am I always right about everything...but I do know it's never "smart" to just give up and stop running.

same thing i doTo regenerate health, get a bow shot with a 180 degree spin, and flint&steel. That's why I do it. Others are just N00Bs.
Stop whining about it and playCan someone please explain to me why people run away? I see no point, whoever you're fighting is either better then you at PvP or has better gear, and they're never gonna stop chasing you! All you're doing is wasting your time, you waisted 15 minutes of your life playing this game, you better make it worth it, put up a fight. I just, I don't even... So runners, please consider this.
