In my opinion Points werent useless before the Bounty came back. I had more respect if a Player had 7k and just 350 to another one who had 430 wins and had like 2800 points... Probablly the one with 420 wins sponsored his away but keeping 7k was harder than getting some wins. (Im talking of the old v2 without bountying)
I actually was about to make a thread why everyone thinks points dont matter but since Bounty came back Ive gotta agree....

Seriously, why do people care about points so much? I mean other than giving people a better impression on you they're pretty much useless except if you sponsor people a lot.

I like he bountying. Since i'm not very known, people hardly ever bounty me, so when they do, i make sure not to die. Also, whenever other people get bountied, i try to hunt them down. Sadly, this can be abused easily, which could then make the points seem like a waste of time.

I don't understand why you people care about points so much. I actually like when I don't have many points because people will automatically assume I suck, but when I kill them in game I'm just like "YOU WERE WRONG GURRLLL!" and walk away like a boss.
