That's all, if I ever gain a huge bounty, I bounty it away because I don't want it to give anyone a false impression about how good I actually am..though people usually think I've received a bounty to get mine :C

Wasn't the way you obtained 15k originally a somewhat "illegitimate" way to break a bounty record? I don't know the details, but it seems to me you three probably pummeled all on one player and then the person who was the focus of it all would run in and get the last hit on the list guy, continuing to do this multiple times a match, multiple matches in a row?

This is a bit different than what I would call a legitimate record break. When I think about those words I picture someone who is just ridiculously skilled to the point where they can win 20+ matches out of 22 - 24, thus leading them to gain insane amounts of bounty no matter what.

Honestly though, points have always been something very few people should ever care about. You can't sort the leaderboards by it, so you can't actually see who has the most anyways.

I think you will be able to sort the leaderboards by it soon, it was just never put in when the new leaderboards came out.

Honestly, wins/game should be a statistic that is counted in a 0 - 1 ratio, that is a pretty nice way of showing skill. Only the teaming thing would affect it, but still, I think that would be a nice way to do this.

Anyway, onto topic, I enjoy bounty, I was never one of those that cared about points, the only thing that made me question or talk about points, is when players, who arent that good, but have friends, alt accounts, and decent skill, to store points within their alt or friend, and then save up until they get a lot of points.

So my honest opinion is, dont give a crap about points, just play for fun, play for the achievements

If I assembled a group of myself as well as 3-4 people I know, I would win nearly every game.
But...that takes a huge portion of the fun out of this game. I would not get any real satisfaction from it due to the fact that I needed the help of others. I mean, what, I am going to boast about it on teamspeak or on the fourms? xD"

There is no perfect way of finding out the Skill of someone. Maybe there are better ones and worse ones but there is no perfct one imo.

You really can't rate pure skill by anything in a game like this.

Two days ago you looked like a pro with 5k Points... You didnt see anyone with more than 5k. Maybe 1 in 8 Lobbies... Then Elgoldo broke the 10k which was unbelieveable... He got the achievement... He had really hard work but he did it.
Orienting to Elgoldo me and _zeX99_ decided to get 15k which was a really hard mission ... Losing 670 and 1300 points at a Disconnect can be very demotivating (happened to me once)
But _zeX99_ and me did it... I got the achievement, I was really proud at it and later on I replaced it with 13370 Bounty in my Signature...
One day later I realized our whole work was for nothing.
Why? They implemented Bounty again. In my first game at the next day I saw someone with 19k.
And later on I saw a thread where someone was bragging that he broke the World record. *coughing really hard*

But lets get back to the red line:
Since Bountying is added again Points are Completly useless. The achievement which seemed to be unreachable (Reach 10k Bounty) is easily possible in 1 day (I saw 3 Guys who already had it yesterday)

Bountying was removed when v2 came out because some Guys like hb01 abused it and got 150k because all of his friends always bountyed for him and let him win. (That was before the Bounty bug)
So why did they add it again? Its easy to get high Bounty now
