I would play for AS. But the thing is, im not as good as other AS players.
Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.
Well it wouldn't have to be serious thing so maybe it wouldn't matter if they lose but I your point u made.I doubt many people will play unless they have the region advantage as many 'pros' are competitive and majority can't stand losing.

Except it's impossible without sending each of the participators the fastest router in the world, so that they can connect to the server close enough to equallyOr space hosting, but that doesn't exist yet. So no matter what you do, someone will be lagging

The fastest routers in the world would really not help at all, still not faster than Ethernet.
A way to make this work is having multiple rounds with a roundcounter dividable by 3. The location of the server would just be changed after every round. Everyone would have rounds with good and bad connection then.
