What's with all the 1.6 Hate?

Seriously, this is growing on my nerves a bit. Does 1.6 have bugs? Yes, but so do all other updates! Back in May or so of last year there was an update that would cause players to ghost and make games unplayable. Was it annoying? Yes. But we still managed. The main things I see people complaining about is:

1. The launcher:
Honestly, who cares. It's not like anythings different. There's only one function you used in the old launcher. "Play". You look at it for less than 3 seconds, and you're going to make a big fuss about this? Really? It's not that big of a deal. If anything, I prefer this new launcher! They even give you the function to play on 1.5.2 with it! Now THAT is nice! See, it's better than the old launcher.

2. The delayed sprinting:
This will be fixed, don't get too worked up over it. Minecraft has had bigger bugs in the past and they'll fix this one.

3. No optifine blah blah:
You don't think they'll update it? What is the deal, it's not like this hasn't happened 10+ other times. It'll be out in a couple days, just wait!

Now I'm seeing threads that say that instead of having 1.6, we need to take steps BACKWARDS and move the servers back down to 1.5.2. Are you for real?? You can't wait a few days with slightly buggy gameplay? This just isn't something that deserves all this hate! They'll FIX IT. Believe me! Just WAIT. Don't post flame threads saying it sucks! It's getting annoying!

U could still change to different versions of minecraft before 1.6 btw

I found it more inconvenient, that took me 2 minutes, now it's just at a few clicks of the mouse and takes less than 15 seconds.

Agreed, every update there are bugs and glitches. People should know this, most of us have been playing Minecraft for a very long time. The bugs and glitches will be fixed ASAP just like every other Minecraft update. Everyone just be patient.

When you open it. It shows all the codes and stuff. Then the main screen looks ugly and may confuse people that are not experienced. Have you seen something like that on a game? You usually just click and a screen appears , nothing special. Then when you click play another window pops up( I am a mac user I don't know if it works like that on windows). Also. Development console? Why do you need that ? You just want to play the game. The profiles thingy is cool and useful though. It doesn't look nice. You will ask me why do you care if it looks nice. I just want it to look nice and a lot of other people want that

I agree, I mean, it looks ugly when you open it and there's all this coding stuff infront of your face...
