Best Recording Software In Your Opinion?

Fraps.

It comes down to Fraps and Dxtory, and when it's all said and done Fraps is better. The reason being because when I record with Fraps, there is no drop in FPS, but with Dxtory, there is a significant drop. So Fraps.

I pretty much have this same question. Most of the above comments say Fraps, but when I use it the fps is locked to what I'm recording at. Is this supposed to happen, or can I change it? I just can't play at 30 fps.

EDIT: But from what I've heard, Fraps for Windows and Screenflow for Mac. <--- That was my answer to the thread.

Screenflow is Fraps for Mac I believe.

Not to get off topic, but I looked at their FAQ and there was a question about releasing it for Windows, which they said that they had no plans for. So, I don't think your beliefs of that are true.
