Lobby fight?

I do not know if this is a glitch, but an SG match happened inside of the lobby! We were supposed to go to Vallyside University, but ended up fighting in the lobby. WHAT HAPPENED????

There are chests in the lobby, so you CAN get a weapon.

Since this is a glitch, you are allowed to go anywhere, including escaping the lobby. My friend sponsored me an ender pearl to get out of the lobby. You can travel to NPC villages and get armor and swords . DM was so OP in my lobby game because everyone escaped the map and got swords and armor.
