different colored name for youtubers? (could a mod please help)

i saw a guy today with a pink name! i asked him what it was for. he said it was because he was a youtuber. is this something that mcsg really does and is there anything for someone being a streamer. because i have been streaming all of my games for the past few weeks and have been getting a lot of views for someone just starting ( in 5 streams i have had 100+ views and 4 followers). is there any kind of a name or something for a streamer. i would really like to know because if there was it would really help people see that i am there.

A pink name is for friend rank. You get friend rank when you are friends with a senior staff member. And the rank for YouTuber is VIP, but that is really hard for YouTubing. Another way to obtain VIP is by creating a map that gets accepted to the MCSG servers.

There is no rank for being a "streamer", 100+ views is nowhere near enough to get the VIP rank which is given out to popular YouTuber's who have 10,000+ subscribers.

Pink name = Friend rank, which is given to players who are friends with a lot Sr. Staff or players who are previous staff members.

Exactly, being friends with 1 sr staff has nothing to do with it.
Though, it does help to be friends

Was it me who you asked? I may of misdirected you but I was asked today (like every other day) what rank I was and I said friend rank and someone else asked me if I was a youtuber and I said I was recording the game. If you were that guy then I'm sorry but now you have your answer

You have to be a pretty successful Youtuber/"Streamer" to receive a VIP rank
If there was a rank solely for a streamer or youtuber then 99% of the community would have it.

There are other ways of achieving a VIP rank such as, being a lead builder in an MCSG approved map or doing something special for the community. Example when Eshan did a 24hr charity live stream.

Friend rank is a rank reserved for ex staff members and good friends of the staff (Not given easily)

You also can't ask for these ranks. They're offered to you.
