Is it just me or is everyone except me Steve?

Okay, so I was on MCSG in the hub a few weeks ago and I noticed almost EVERYONE was Steve. I thought they were just new people, but this continued DAILY. Only some people's skins showed. I started asking people if they saw the same as me, and they said that it was only me. I tried logging out of Minecraft and logging back in, but nothing happened. Is there something wrong with Mcsg or...? Please help ;-; Here's a picture for you to see what I see.

It happens on occasion I've found. It's like you haven't connected to the server properly, so the other players' skins haven't loaded.
