The Diamond Fist

So it came to my attention today that the diamond fist is a glitch. But what I don't understand is how MCSG staff have known about the glitch for so long, yet fail to remedy it, considering there have been 2 plugin updates. This just gives users and players like me the opinion that it's a reward for winning a map. I mean, it's a simple slot out-of-sync bug that can be easily fixed.

From what I've heard, and don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure it's a glitch on the Minecraft side of things and MCSG isn't really able to fix it.

Diamond Fist is basically a glitch. A plug-in might messed up, causing this glitch to stick to MCSG for a while now. People are getting free wins every single game due to the glitch, if they join the same server over and over again.

So how does the Glitch works, you may ask. It's simple. If you win a game with a Diamond Sword, example in "US12", when you rejoin the same lobby, you're stuck with the glitch.

Therefore, your fist is acting as if there's an invisible Diamond Sword. Hitting people off Cornucopia with the glitch might be fun but it's a glitch that MCSG has to look into.

That is my thoughts on the Diamond Fist glitch. I never encountered this bug but I've heard rumours about it. Can't wait to see an Admin or someone along those lines, replying to this thread. I would love to hear their opinion on this.

But it is clearly fixable considering other hg and sg servers that run in a similar style don't have the problem. It is clearly plugin sided.

For example, it could be as simple as clearing the winners inventory before kicking them from the server when they win.

Such as adding new lobbies? I'd assume with such a large player base, quality was valued over quantity. But then again I could be wrong.

Funny how I rarely die from it, that's coming from me who gets targeted every game.

Such as API updates, tier 3's, new servers, etc.

I don't have much information on the subject and I don't even know if it's MCSG's fault. It will be fixed I can assure you, although there are other things being focused on at the current time.
