The Purge (MCSG Remake!)

First of all, I know this will never happen but it's just a fun, interesting Idea I came up with. To start, "The Purge" is a movie, this movie is about basically about America having the best crime rate percentages yet. But, every year they have one day were there are no rules/laws also there are no Police/Fire brigades/Ambulances you are all alone. You are allowed to do anything you want, kill people, rob banks ETC ETC...

So let me get to my point. Imagine if MCSG schedule a date were your allowed to hack and not pay the consequences break every single rule that is made and have no moderators being there to tell you off.

But remember, this is the only day you can hack, after that you will pay all the consequences.

Would you take part in "The Purge?"

Yes- It would be a good way to let of steam and try out different hacks I would find it fun and enjoyable. ~

No- The community would be destroyed due to the amount of swearing and caps that would most likely take place, actually, the whole of MCSG would be destroyed with the amount of rule breakers online.

No because people wouldnt know about "the purge" and then there is a huge amount of hackers and then people get spammed on TS, ban disputes go ping, ping PING ALSO because of all the swearing people would leave

Plus, there would be this one super-hacker who would super-hack MCSG without fear of being fined and ruin MCSG for all

Personally, I don't think it would be a very good idea. The idea of the Purge (in the movie) is allowing people an outlet to let out their stress, and frustration for one day, with no consequences. When it comes to MCSG, you can let out all your frustration from losing in the sanctity of your own home, because nobody will know, and nobody will be hurt by anything you say behind your computer screen.

When it comes to having a Purge for hacking, I suppose that's less of a easy-to-pass sort of thing, however if you really wanted to hack, you could do so in Single Player, with no consequence.

If we were to have a Purge, any player who had never been on the network before, or had not known of the Purge, imagine joining a server, and seeing utter chaos. That'd be potential player loss, or cause players to think that behavior is appropriate, and complain when banned after the Purge ends.

The only reason I'd say it's a bad idea is purely because it isn't natural for humans too have a bottled up desire to use nodus and BSM. In the film however it is seen as letting out all of the aggression and hatred they've kept in them for a whole year. I don't think letting people use hacks without any consequences for 1 day would reduce the number of hackers for every other day.
