I'm sure you could do it if everyone in the game was in a skype call with you or something. You'd have to get every single chest, and then twice more for each refill. If I can get 17 gold ingots by doing my chest route twice in Valleyside, as a team, you can make a god apple.

Possible, just really hard.

For example take a team of 24 getting every single chest in say SG2 for each refill and giving all the gold ingots to one person. (I think there's 250 chests)

Say 250 x 3 (Starting chest and two refills) is 750 chests, you can easily get 72 ingots there.

A team is an understatement.
You've have to get together a group big enough to kill everyone else to stay alive, get double refill, and split the entire map into sections where everyone knows where every chest is. Even at that point, with getting each chest as many times as you can in 3 minutes, it'd still seem highly improbable. Luck plays a big part, but for a god apple it'd have to be a big team effort by highly trained professionals. You'd also need to play the map with statistically the most tier 2 chests. A 48 man server would also be useful, so you'd probably want to join one of the CA 48 man servers and hope to get in with 24-30 people so clearing the server with your team is quick.

Edit: All in all, we need to plan this. I'm up for being part of the group with the first god apple crafted on MCSG. I'm just assuming it's the first, but you know.

Show me the pic to prove you're not lying and no, God Apples can be made but it's pretty hard, you would need 72 gold ingots and with the new chest update, gold is more common so you can still do it, provided that the map you're on has a lot of chests.

All in all, we need to plan this. I'm up for being part of the group with the first god apple crafted on MCSG. I'm just assuming it's the first, but you know.

I would love to be in that group, but, my friend @ulthar told me that @Gravey4rd has crafted a god apple b4 in v1, and basiclly how he did it, since there was no d-match timer back then, he just looked in a LOT of chests. But we can still be the first group to do it in v2/v3
