As the school year starts off I kind of wanted to start making smallish stories to enhance my writing skills and stuff, so I started making a custom story about a guy who is going into the survival games on the 100th annual games, the quarter-quell. (There WILL be an explanation for why the trilogy moved on after the 75th games and the rebellion) I wanted to relate aspects to MCSG and people to the audience of people to participate in MCSG. Thinking of chad being the president, don't worry,
The capitol has changed their ways but still do the hunger games every year. Chad will be a giving ruler, yet one to still enjoy the games. The gamemakers/map makers will be if they allow it, the members from @Ninetailefox92 's and @Tree_TheBigKind 's Red Forest build team. The main character (District 7 @Virtual would have a clue why )will be a guy who was selected via a NEW reaping ceremony to celebrate 100 games, and takes part in a 120 player game, 10 players per district. I will be incorporating elements and strategies from MCSG such as F&S and fishing rods, using flashbacks to previous games where important MCSG players will be quoted Ex. @G33ke with the fishing rod. I'm just doing this for fun, and I will post a thread once I complete it, being the procrastinator I am, it might be a month or two. I have made a prologue to the story just for a teaser and a mini snopsis of the story:
The cool mountainous breeze flooded into my room as the sun rose up. As my eyes flickered open, I was awaiting the bird chirp to signal the opening of a new day, but nothing spoke. Stumbling out of bed I was greeted downstairs by a distraught red-eyed mother, having a look of sympathy for me. "It's the reaping..." She replied, choking on her own words as she looked back at the candlelit stove cooking hardly boiled eggs. My heart sunk, but I knew every other child in the nation had the same immediate reaction. I heard a thump and turned around to welcome my 12 year old sister, who came in sobbing and clinging her hair with fear. "Why does this damn country torture us like this?" She said in a voice of anger and frustration. Today, we were choosing the tributes for this years Survival Games.
So, this is it, I would like ideas for creativity, locations on the map, certain events in the games, and a title. I'm open to feedback. I'm just doing this for fun. May the odds be ever in your favor...
