Although I haven't tried the snapshot out myself I have heard from many sources that the sprint feature that will be added into Minecraft 1.7 is just a bindable sprint key. You will not be able to continue sprinting after you hit another player/object like BSM allows you to do. So I don't think it's correct to say that "BSM is being put into Minecraft", because it's not.

But I could be wrong, I guess we just have to wait and see.

Ok, the people who are saying that it's BSM are just assuming it. And also just because they say it is BSM doesn't mean it actually is.

First of all that's single-player. Second thing is that he could just be pressing the sprint button constantly while holding down. Also it doesn't really look like hes sprinting and hitting, the mob doesn't even get knock back

1. Single player would be no different than multiplayer.
2. The person is me. All you need to do is hold down your sprint key (set to left control by default), and your sprint never breaks.
3. I am strafing around the pigman and my sprint never breaks; I don't know what you're seeing.

How about you just wait until it's released and we can try it out on Multiplayer? There's no way we can really prove who's correct/incorrect right now.

I just tested that on singleplayer.

How about you just wait until it's released and we can try it out on Multiplayer? There's no way we can really prove who's correct/incorrect right now.

It is not BSM.

It's more like BSM but you have to hold down a button. Taping down your sprint key would have the same effect as BSM.

Evermore, with this you have to hold that button while pvping which makes it more difficult than with bsm where you press the sprint button at the start of the game and never have to worry about it again.
