Fist glitch fix?!

I've thought this for a while and it seems logical, I cannot see anything wrong with it (well, one thing - but that comes later.)
Why not just add a /clear command as soon as "DerpyDash11 won the Survival Games" appears.
For those of you who don't know what the fist glitch is; then you're probably on the wrong game xD
A fist glitch is when someone wins a game and holds their sword, the server restarts and you have a diamond fist in the next game.
The only thing I can think of to prevent this is someone doing /hub before the /clear....

actually its not a diamond fist... your dmage in the next round is whatever would hahve come from your previous sword...
Clearing a players inventory upon winning before the message prompt that x user wins the survival games would fix the glitch...
Or replacing all of your inventory with cake etc.

And I know alot of people will disagree but it is NOT a mojang/minecraft issue...
It is a problem with the mcsg plugin

No one knows why they don't use their idea....
The glitch still hasn't been fixed... I attempted to punch slasherxtreme at the start of a match yesterday and he died after the fourth punch.

and how do you necro a post that is an ongoing problem!??!?
