Which Is better to focus on Rod Or Fns

I prefer Flint and Steel over any other side weapon, and personally, I don't use fishing rods at all.

I'd say the FnS is more OP so if you master that it will help you out more than the rod. I can win against a good "fishing-roder" however winning a fight against an extremely good "FnSer" would be more difficult. I suck at fighting while on fire.

Yeah, FnS is better... Deciding how you use it, it might not be, if you use it improperly, I'll stick with Fishing Rod if you know how to use it.

It also depends how well you know your opponent. If you and Billa are good friends and play a lot together he'll probably expect it more. While if I versed him he may not expect it, so I might light him on fire easier.

To be honest fishing poles. I have lost battles because I can't even get near thanks to their fishing rod. I use my fishing rod, but nothing compared to how other players use it.

FnS... it's also much more useful to take down teams. Also it depends on who your fighting and where you are, lets say your in a tunnel FnS would be extremely useful in this situation because they have nowhere to run.

If you are amazing with a rod, you can be beat.
If you are amazing with FNS you are very hard to beat if you have a lot.
