It's rather simple to get the axe, all you do is you spin the axe a couple of times then shoot it with a bow

I think using the iron axe in TSG2 is as cheating as using the fishing rod in the casino in SG1. Fortunately, it's easier to tell who's exploiting a bug in TGS2.
