It's a reasonable idea, but what you need to understand is that your 'reward' is knowing you've helped, and benefited the servers.

A rank is to benefit you, yes, but also to show other people what you have accomplished. Who cares if anyone knows you report hackers? You do, and that's all that matters. You've helped the servers, and you should be proud of yourself, without any recognition needed .
