Even though I was pulling for @ThappleTree , I still feel he shouldn't have won.
I won Vida Cova on my first try... thank you for the awesome mapAs for many other hg rant thereads, will post opinions when I get on my dads laptop.
Anyway, I see no reason to rant on this, as it's your choice to get involved
There is a very simple solution:
If you think Hell Games is stupid:
-Dont watch it.
-Dont participate.
Done! Simple!

This^^^^^^^^I have seen this argument too many times on this thread to quote them all...and although there is some truth to it...that does not mean the opinions of the players, or the OP of this thread, should be disregarded.
There are some very valid points in this thread: The game is unfair...but maybe that's supposed to be how the game is? It's up to the gamemakers to decide what to do with community input...however, when this many people have a problem the current system, it's quite probable that something might need to change. This is a community event, and if the community isn't having fun watching it or playing it...then you have a problem. This is a time when majority opinion matters, no matter how rude, nonconstructive, or biased.
I don't care what experience one person had in the games. As some have argued, they had a lot of fun regardless of the cheap reason for their death...but that doesn't mean everyone else was okay with that. If you're going to expect that everyone accepts this, you have to advertise your game as such...do you seriously expect everyone to expect this kind of outcome out of the game? When I read the thread for the hell games, I never remember reading that gamemakers often kill and harass players around every corner, or have the ability to sponsor full iron if they desire. Many people played it or watched it with the expectations of what the hell games was described as in the thread, and that is not what they got. If you are going to argue that it's as simple as not watching or participating, than you need to tell the player exactly how it's going to work. None of the things argued in this thread were ever part of the hell games advertisements to my memory, the players could not avoid it...and even if they had been, it seems that many players disregarded it, which still needs to be addressed, as a huge part of the games this time instead of a short sentence in the middle of things if that's how it was before.
If the makers of the hell games are going to keep the game the way it is now, and have gamemakers be such a major part of the game like this...then as I said before: It needs to be advertised as such a game, based majorly on luck of the draw with gamemakers. You cannot seriously expect everyone to be okay with this outcome if you didn't tell everyone this was how it was supposed to work.
I haven't watched, nor participated in the event, but I still believe the problems should be addressed. Read above.
