I really wont give an opinon on the first topic since I missed the last two gell games event and theres no point on talking about HG 6 since is happened so long ago already.

But on the topic of how people are picked... Ill have to agree, I dont mean to get anyone mad but its pretty clear only the more popular people get picked for the most part... I mean... I've been applying for the Hell Games ever since the first one and I only took part in the second one, and I wasnt even picked for that one! I was allowed to participate because someone else didnt show up! Im not giving as a point that I havent been picked for a single game out of 8 of them since that has happened to many others too, but what Im trying to say is that if you read the lists of tributes, at the most (and very rarely) you'll find two non-popular player...

I'll always be trying to apply but I always do thinking I wont be picked, the dissapointment is much smaller that way...

Anyway, I see no reason to rant on this, as it's your choice to get involved

I have seen this argument too many times on this thread to quote them all...and although there is some truth to it...that does not mean the opinions of the players, or the OP of this thread, should be disregarded.

There are some very valid points in this thread: The game is unfair...but maybe that's supposed to be how the game is? It's up to the gamemakers to decide what to do with community input...however, when this many people have a problem the current system, it's quite probable that something might need to change. This is a community event, and if the community isn't having fun watching it or playing it...then you have a problem. This is a time when majority opinion matters, no matter how rude, nonconstructive, or biased.

I don't care what experience one person had in the games. As some have argued, they had a lot of fun regardless of the cheap reason for their death...but that doesn't mean everyone else was okay with that. If you're going to expect that everyone accepts this, you have to advertise your game as such...do you seriously expect everyone to expect this kind of outcome out of the game? When I read the thread for the hell games, I never remember reading that gamemakers often kill and harass players around every corner, or have the ability to sponsor full iron if they desire, as I've heard many members of the community talk about. Many people played it or watched it with the expectations of what the hell games was described as in the thread, and that is not what they got. If you are going to argue that it's as simple as not watching or participating, than you need to tell the player exactly how it's going to work. None of the things argued in this thread were ever part of the hell games advertisements to my memory, the players could not avoid it...and even if they had been, it seems that many players disregarded it, which still needs to be addressed, as a huge part of the games this time instead of a short sentence in the middle of things if that's how it was before.

If the makers of the hell games are going to keep the game the way it is now, and have gamemakers be such a major part of the game like this...then as I said before: It needs to be advertised as such a game, based majorly on luck of the draw with gamemakers. You cannot seriously expect everyone to be okay with this outcome if you didn't tell everyone this was how it was supposed to work.

There is a very simple solution:
If you think Hell Games is stupid:
-Dont watch it.
-Dont participate.

Done! Simple!

I haven't watched, nor participated in the event, nor any previous installments, but I still believe the problems should be addressed. Read above.

It seems to me that everyone insists that the gamemakers were trying to get me to win.
The reality is, they were trying to kill me, but couldn't. Simultaneously, I had all of the possible things gamemakers could do to my knowledge. Whatever happened to the other tributes that caused their death, I had that to an equal or greater extent. May I just say, it is really hard to fight an opponent when you have confusion.

Moving on, there is no excuse to not have the ability to kill Antster and I. Whether it was a lack of cooperation with your teammate, or a failure to proper loot corn, everyone had a chance at getting some nice gear.
Speaking of gear, this brings me onto the next thing I wanted to touch on. Guess how many times my district was sponsored something positive from the gamemakers? Zero would be the correct answer. However, if we take a look at our opponents we had to face, they had armor, weapons, and food handed to them by the gamemakers. I recall chasing someone down a section of the maze and noticing a line of at least four chests that had been sponsored by the gamemakers. When I eventually caught up to the tribute, he had better armor than me;iron armor and whatnot.
