The 1.7 Sprint Update - Don't Worry About It

I never understood why people used BSM knowing that 1.7 was right around the corner.

Because we don't have to worry about BSM being added to Vanilla Minecraft.

Back when the first rumors and whatnot started about BSM being added, there were MANY threads about it, or at least they were commented on often, and thus seemed like a lot because they kept being bumped.
There were dozens of posts, from many people, that said the exact same stuff.
I'm seeing several people on this thread, who I thought to be smart, saying how they were about to quit because they thought MC was adding BSM into Minecraft...and you didn't bother to check this further until now?!?!

Ah, I suppose I took this a bit too far and a bit too incoherent or something or potato... but still.
I guess I'm just surprised how few people knew about the stuff in this thread.


But again, thank you for posting this thread and informing more people about it.

Have you tried playing on the update? All you have to do is hold down your sprint key to where your pinky finger can access it, and hold it down. It serves almost the same benefits as BSM (I was killing some sheep and pigs and it felt great). I think this update will create an impact on how people will PVP from now on. Strafing is now a lot easier, you can get crazy combos because your sprint isn't stopping, getting fishing rod stuns are harder, etc, etc. You may make the argument that everyone will have the same update and advantages so nothing will change, but the way people will use it to their advantage to do new things will change.

"Prepare yourselves, Minecraft 1.7 is coming"
