I think that some server(mabye us11-20) should have the "survival aspect" so the 3,000 on Fourms are happy while the other 7,000 can have a chance to expierince it like MCSG is doing with the v1 chests

I agree, although its more like 1,000 forumers vs. 50,000 regular players.

If MCSG takes the opinion of the forum community, the way larger in game community would be extremely mad. The user base of MCSG would shrink a ton. MCSG is extremely successful the way it is, and they aren't going to change it for the opinions of a small portion of the community.

The thing is, we will be gaining the majority of people who see Hunger Games 2 the movie, and they will want the gamestyle like hunger games, not like PvP games, if MCSG wants to be succesful and think for the future they should think about the people who will be coming over from Hunger Games 2, which will likely be around 300,000 people+

Well only that 1k wanted that v1 chest and so they made on 10 servers use v1 and now many People like it.

I think it's more realistic than them wanting the PvP games when they come here. Maybe not 300,000 (though that many people or more will at least try it), but we will gain many thousands of active players around that point. They will at least want to try a more Hunger Games-y feel game when they come.

I think for the week of Catching Fire's release, no matter the circumstances, we can try doing a more Hunger Games-y feel Survival Games just because of the movie, and then after that, revert back to the normal way we have it.

Great thread. I never really thought about it like this because I have never really cared what MCSG changes. I agree that they need to listen to all of the people that play more than just the people on the forums.

I don't think changing it after all the noobs come is a good idea. It could turn them off by making a different play style when they just got used to it.
