Many don't know that there is a rule against using OP items found in a map. For example, the diamond chest plate, and regen potions on Boombeard's Battle are against the rules. However, this rule is not stated clearly in the Info center of the hub, so players that never read the forums have no way of knowing this. Also, if a player killed someone who had those items, they might not know that they are illegal and use them. (cause what if the chest plate was crafted) Therefore, it is impossible for mods to regulate this rule. Another MAJOR issue I have with this, is on Rugged Lands there is a Regen Potion that has been there ever since the map was introduced a long while ago, and has still not been removed. So, if OP items are against the rules, then why are they not removed from the map, as that ultimately is the only way from preventing players from getting them. Another issue is on Valleyside, where there is and enderpearl in a refrigerator. This is another item that for some reason has not been removed, as it is considered OP, even though it is in the sponsor list, which again makes no sense. And, is the Master Sword on Demon's Breeze considered OP? I don't see why it is not, as it is a free iron sword that can easily be gotten with in the first minute or two of the game. At least if an enderpearl is considered OP, a free iron sword certainly is.

I agree!
edit :

Hes trying to say that either way the items need to get removed of the maps or be made legal, you can't tell people not to use certain items in a map which are just laying around there easy to grab.
Exactly

I understand what your saying, but your wrong....
first of all there is NO rule that says there can be no OP items if you check the official rules posted by Chad
second of all, things like the master sword are removed all the timee from maps and if the master sword was deemed too powerful, it would be removed
last of all, if you think this should be changed dont just create a thread complaining about it and misleading people in the process, it is just mean

I think having reminders about what the items are and that they are against the rules would be good.

Actually, ask any mod there is a rule against it. And, thanks for understanding my point that it is a bad rule cause it isn't stated clearly in the rules.

Evidence: (the mod Zni talking about the OP items on Boombeard's)
Those items are against the rules

There is no written rule but if a moderator sees you with one of these items they will ask you to get rid of it or kick you. Get your facts straight before you post things like this, there are several OP items that have been on the servers for a very long time, so don't say that they just get removed. Rules get outdated and that is just life, the staff team deals with these accordingly. Please do a little bit of research before you make such bold claims.

Lastly, the only person doing any misleading is yourself. Think about what you are saying before you post it, use some common sense. There clearly are problems with some of these items, for example the regen potion on Rugged Lands has been there for quite a while and you cannot say that it is not OP. If that regen potion isn't OP then I don't see why people with aimbot should be banned.

The point of this thread is that they eitherway remove the items or make it legal to use. Cause now there is alot of confusion about. People will obey the rule when mod is around but they wont if there isnt or they simply do not know that it is not allowed to use them

I think you should be able to use the item if you find it until they get rid of it.
If its there ill use it. If they don't want us to use it they should delete it. Ik this may be difficult to do but until they get rid of the op items they should be allowed. One of my threads got locked because I was goin to put a video showing where these OP items are :/
