I don't really use the ranks on the leaderboards as a way to determine how much "better" someone is at the games, so I couldn't care less if they act better than me.
For example - I win almost 33% of my games, but zeejayy (Number one on US) wins a little over 25%. Technically, I am "better" than him, he just has more time to play and therefore gets more wins.
You'll also notice that even though he wins less games, he has more points. This is likely because he has been improving a lot and he just had a rough start. Most of his points lost were early on when he only had less than 1000, then he got much better and can keep them higher.
Taking that into account, he is likely better than me now, but I started off better than him. I jump right into things right away and then don't get much better, however he has a rough start and improves significantly.
