Barrier Blocks instead of Glass?

Hello :3

In the new Snapshot there's a new block called Barrier Block and its a Invisible Block which you can't Break!
Will it be possible to use this block instead of glass in the maps? (I'm thinking of building one :3)
And maybe replace the glass on existing maps into this Barrier Block? (I don't know about this idea xD)

What do you think?

That's a good idea, and it adds another twist to not knowing where the edge of the map is. :3

Yeah it will, unless you use a certain stained glass that you wont use for the initial dome then World Edit it later..

Not really, if mapmakers use glass as a reference for their dome first, then when they finish the map and replace the glass with the barrier, it wouldn't be that big of a pain.

You could have it so you know where the edge is, like in quarter quell with the quartz/beacons on the ground.

Or theres 1 glass block, like the shimmering spot in the film
