Ancient Japan was too laggy, Asia Games was apparently not aesthetically pleasing enough, Insanity Cause was literally never played, and I don't remember why they removed Overgrown Arena.

If people don't like it map it doesn't mean it's bad, they are selected by the best builders of mcsg. Dave, ninetail etc. if the map is generally bad I don't believe it would be accepted. Their judgement is most likely going to be better than a player who doesn't even build.
