I don't see why that would be considered illegal. It's not abusing any glitches or anything, it's simply how the game works. It's clever and really great strategy.

Using the "Boat Kill" strategy is a very effective way of obtaining kills in the game if your timing is precise and you can find a good location for it. Down in the ravine on SG 4, like showed in the video, is one of the perfect places to try this out. As this strategy is in no way against the rules and it does not give anyone an unfair win or illegal win, it's perfectly fine to use it.
