A "new glitch"...

Recently i've been spectating people and a lot of them go to the casino and doing this: puting 3 seeds in 3 of the slots, and using a fishing rod to power the fourth one untill they get the redstone torch, question is : is that allowed ? I would like a staff member to answer to this question so i can be 100% what to do about this... And another thing, if its not allowed would a screenshot of a guy pointing or even using the fishing rod down the hole would be enough to get him punished? Thank you for your support staff members.

It shouldnt be allowed but if they are able to, its probably just a glitch in the redstone workings

Its not glitch in redstone; arrows and fishing rods can power wooden presure plates like normal dropped items, i need staff confirmation about this guys...

I thought arrows could only trigger wooden pressure plates if they were updated by like.. fire particles etc but I think that got fixed.

Still, shooting an arrow down would act the same as throwing it down, you would still lose it. A fishing rod is like tying a string to a coin and getting it back from a vending machine.

Fishing pole isnt allowed.. It has to be items.

It could be easily fixed though... Just make the holes deeper.

Okay so we cleared that point, now i need an answer to my other question.. Would a screenshot of a guy crouching and shooting down with fishing rod be strong enough evidence?

As long as you can see the name and the fishing rod in his hand + the end on the wooden pressure. I think that would be adequate.

Using a fishing rod to activate a pressure plate is not allowed, but at the same is also not bannable. If a moderator sees someone doing, we kick them.
