1. I understand thisYou need far more data to even come to a conclusion, there are over 2 million playing mcsg daily, you have a tiny fraction of them, you need to make more research to make such a conclusion with so limited data. You cant make assumptions! Next time try to include factors such W/L ratio and KDR.
No I added your wins I swear...It looks as if you plotted my part as 75ms at 148 wins, without taking into account my old account that has 468 wins. We could get into the detail of alt accounts but nobody else was doing that, I don't know if adding my total win count really would affect the data, I thought I'd just point it out.
Glad you did this, honestly whenever someone complains about ping I'm just going to link them this in the hopes that they'll silence themselves![]()
I knowI really like the effort you've put in this, but you can't really link your amount of ping to your amount of wins. Your amount of wins is determined by how much you play and hw good you are at the game.
Anyhow, as this does looks really interesting please keep up the work as I'm still curious what the results are!
Okay, I was just checking. Not too big of a deal c:No I added your wins I swear...
Ping doesn't matter as much as you thinkMany people don't recognize this, but ping hasn't exactly mattered the entire time MCSG has been around. The stupid sprint button made everyone be able to hit each other easily, so it came down to ping. Before that (which I obtained around 1000 of my wins or so) ping was overridden by whoever was better at double-tapping w, and I didn't even know what ping was on MCSG back then. I think this would have been a better test to do a little while after the leaderboard update, so that all the wins came after the sprint button.
