A Very Odd Bug

I was playing on Fortune Island, riding around in a boat, and for whatever reason, I decided to cast my rod out. It flew up in the air, and came down and hit me as I was in the boat, going. Suddenly, I just.. died. I didn't lost any points or anything. Right when it hit me, I died on impact.

I'm not sure if this has happened to anybody else. I just wanted to share this little "bug", or whatever it may be.

I stayed in my boat when I died, too. I was just chillin' in the boat as a spectator. Soo odd :c

Hm, never had this happen to me either. Sounds a little weird though... Maybe it's a heavily exaggerated damage glitch like that old fall damage glitch mcsg had.
