So true. I beat a guy about 15 times in unfair 1v1's (I was the underdog btw) and then the one time he kills me, everyone thinks he's better than me and a god. The in game community is so perfect sometimes c:

My grandfather was greatly opposed to ASATs and all tests for one reason.

Tests and Numbers don't tell the full story.

An ASAT doesn't tell you that their father died the night before. An ASAT doesn't tell you they were recently diagnosed with cancer and are suffering tremendously mentally. An ASAT doesn't tell you that you're dumb.

An ASAT tells you a number.
Guess what? Numbers lie.

They lie by omission. They lie by not telling the full story.

So if I 1v1 you with pretty fair gear and you beat me, sure, say GG.
But don't say you're better then me.
Don't tell me I'm average.

Because maybe I had a brain scan earlier that day... or maybe my dog died.
A 1v1 tells you who won -- NOT whose better.

Now, if you were to 1v1 me over a long period of time and I consistently lost, then, that would tell you something.

So when you 1v1 someone, don't tell them you're better and don't think you're better. Because, you don't know.

Life doesn't come with such easy, simple answers sometimes.

(This was not said because someone actually did this to me. I just see it all the time.)

This embodies my entire argument on the over-usage of the expression "gg." Thank you. It's like you read my mind and reorganized my rage into coherent, universally understood thought. I am so glad I noticed this thread in "New Posts."

Not true! If I beat Huahwi once fair and square (totally not a clean up or on another server) then I am not better than him? OF COURSE I AM, AND MY NAME SHOULD REPLACE HIS ON THE LEADERBOARD. Fix your game Chad!
