Advertising Your Clan in the Lobby

I have seen people advertise their clan in the lobby. However, it was getting to the point where the message was appearing every 10 seconds. Is this allowed? I understand people advertising their clan, but is it considered spam?

No every 10 seconds if you think about it is not very much, there could be over 10 messages in between these messages (one every second.)

Asking once or twice is fine; however, if the user asks 3+ times it is considered spam. If the situation with everyone asking gets out of hand, further rules may be made to prohibit this. If someone is spamming, please report it at http://report.mcgamer.info.
