Description of the bug:
There are a few pretty obvious bugs that I'm rolling up into this topic.
1. The 2nd poll option is gone. The poll just shows 1 randomly selected option rather than both of them. The chances also seem slightly skewed towards SG2's favor. I'm not sure if this was a bug introduced by the chance voting (which is the exact day that this started happening), or a feature designed to emulate the time when maps actually were randomly selected. If it's a feature, then I'd suggest not having a poll pop up in the chat, because making it look like you can vote when you can't looks unprofessional. This could also apply to Quarter Quell since there's only 1 map. Right now these polls make both gamemodes look kinda hastily put together.
2. Hunger drains a lot faster than it used to. Ever since the 1.7 update, the hunger in SGC drains much faster than in regular SG and QQ, about the same speed as vanilla Minecraft. This actually doesn't break the game as much as I thought it would, since fights in Classic are generally short and don't involve too much running. However, it makes finding enough food nearly impossible unless you either kill every animal you come across or cook a lot of raw food. Not too terrible once you get used to it, but can be difficult during those games where no animals spawn or you go several chests in a row with no food.
3. The chest randomization. This is the bug that really does kind of screw up the gameplay (though not completely, since there are 3 different routes that all have pretty much equal stuff, but still). The chests in SG2 are still not randomized except for a few, mainly the ones at spawn and the ones I open in this video:
Also, that last chest I open here is a little weird. Occasionally it actually spawns tier 2 gear in the top half, but usually it's tier 1.
Other than the chests I show in the video, all of them have the same loot every time. This bug seriously needs to be fixed. It's been here ever since Classic was released. Honestly, the other bugs could be turned into features, but this one is bad.
I thought bugfixes to these might be pushed out in the upcoming Summer Update, but I was watching Dave's livestream today and the devs also seemed surprised by the glitches (or at least the single map in the poll glitch). I'm not sure whether most of the bugs are known by the devs but low on the priority list, completely forgotten about, or being worked on right now. I did see a bug report already posted about the chest randomization several months ago, but it got closed with someone saying it was being worked on, and it still isn't fixed.
