I absolutely hate this April fools thing with the fish. The pink text is all right, but it's complete and utter bs when you are trying to play and you die off spawn for no reason. It's extremely annoying, and I want to hear your opinions on this. I know it's meant to be funny, but it's kind of stupid and irritating. Post your opinions below.

I am playing non-stop today, with all these people dying early, games are much easier to win. ThatOneTomahawk is mad just cuz he can't block-hit with fishies. Baccas rule this day, the only weapons you can get are axes and raw fish *_*

No, but in all seriousness, the April Fool's stuff took a max of an hour. It's just something fun we do every year since we kinda started the tradition last year. The gametypes that are in progress won't be hurt by a small 1-hour break to make some silly April Fool's jokes.

I have to agree. Uncommenting/pasting code that's already been made for the exploding podiums, changing text formatting, altering the calculation for a player's velocity on the jump pads, and modifying what objects are placed in chests isn't exactly comparable to the time it takes to develop a new gamemode.

Yes, part of the job of a developer is to create new gamemodes, but even people in serious positions deserve an occasional break. You see it all the time; remember when they petitioned The White House to build a Death Star? People could say that the representative who responded to the petition could have used his time more effectively, but realistically it's impossible to work on something heavy (compare it to difficult subjects in school) all the time; everyone deserves a fun little break sometime!
