Yes i agree with wolfy completely..there needs to be more mods on the AS because we cant record everyone hacking..as we are spectating friends,,joining another game ect...

I applied twice; the first time I was rejected out of the lack of detail. I'm currently in the interview stage, but TeamSpeak is being dumb. The moral of this story? Keep trying.

Actually there are no dedicated AS mods at the moment. kseniagru is currently in Russia and that's why you haven't seen her on the AS servers for a bit.

I have just returned for holiday on Thursday, I usually spend a quarter of my time on Asia severs. As it is, I do believe I was in a AS game with you yesterday. I do agree that there could be More AS mods but I think that the main problem is that the ratio of players to moderators would only allow a small amount of AS mods. I think there are about 11 AU mods and 2 AS if you count me. Now if AS severs were to be always full you would expect about 5/6 mods, 1 mod for 2 severs. The problem I see is that very few of the AS servers are ever full, I usually see at least 6 servers in lobby, empty. 4 in game and 2 full in lobby. Now if I do maths it would make me think that AS is only one moderator short. The true issue then becomes that with a small comunity (AS) you have few mods, A moderator can usually moderate 5+ servers when they are ONLINE, this then becomes the problem that with few people you get large holes with no one moderating. This is what you experienced yesterday, and likly a few ago until now. If I was to create a list of how many moderators for each area their should be I would say 40 for the big areas and 10/15 for the other areas. Back on topic, We are short on AS moderators, but for more moderators we will need more people in the comunity playing AS and more people applying for mod from the AS.

Please keep in mind that this is only my take on things and I may be wrong with some of the facts I have stated. Tis is also coming from some who splits their time between 2 regions.

One short suggestion; to those Mods with a strong internet connection that are usually on US, or CA, they should head on to AS, EU and AU. Of course, one Moderator can't handle all of these divisions; maybe 4 to 5 Moderators from CA and US should head on to AS, EU and/or AU.

I have to agree with you on this. I think 2 Moderators (without the help of the AU mods) is not enough. AS Servers sometimes have full game lobbies from AS1-AS10 (Except for the 48Men-Server). It is possible for the AS Server to be full because it's either the holidays or the weekends. Also, mods who have bad connection with the AS Servers can be mistaken a hacker and a non hacker if they were to come invigilate. I will try my best to apply for mod since we don't have enough man-power. But for now, please come by the AS Servers. We are in desperate need

Almost all AU moderators should be able to jump across to the As region as the AU server host was once held outside of Australia, close to where the AS host is. Please keep in mind I said "most," implying some AU staff wont be able to.

Kind of off-topic, but the other day I saw this guy who I think is called Brendan117 and was fly hacking. We were on Breeze and when the game started he just flew to corn. Couldn't record though :/

Well we are working on this issue but players can always do their part and record and report. Someone will usually be available to help if you ask them. Also never be afraid to apply for mod (unless you are too young) If you are 13 and you think you are an exceptional case you can contact ChadTheDJ through his email [email protected]
