Au Servers being hosted in Australia.

Hey guys, I've been thinking lately that the Lag i get when playing Au is pretty dang bad. The other day I played a server that was hosted in Australia and was shocked at the little lag I got. I have heard that The Au servers arent hosted In Au because they were too costly, but there must be a host out there that Isn't too expensive. I just think it makes the games unfair when someone who is living close to where the servers are hosted fights you, It gives them a big advantage. So I think we should have a new group of servers for Asia, because there is a big Asian community playing mcsg and have Au servers hosted in Australia!

This is just an idea, Im not sure if it possible but just putting my ideas across.

I think it's worth a shot. Chad did, after all, create the AU servers due to popular demand.

There must be an Au host out there thats cheaper.

I am sure if there was a cheaper host, Chad would have already made his decision, there are also other demands when it comes to other server hosts, things like amount of ram server comes with how user friendly it is with adding server files, and also how easy it is to contact the host. Especially when things like the servers going down and not being able to restart them.

Honestly, I agree. You Australians need a server to yourselves (^^). But still, having two different regions just for Asia and Australia is like having one region for the West Coast and an another for the East Coast.

Streamline Servers aren't too bad They're quite cheap, fairly reliable.

also the asian community isnt as big as you would think and they can connect quite easily to the au and eu servers

I would have to say that it would be amazing if the servers were hosted in Australia. I know it might cost more, but I can't imagine it costing much more than to host them in Asia. MineZ has many AU servers which are actually in Australia, and we all get a huge increase in connection to them- I get an increase in ping of around 400.

Maybe if just a few of them were hosted in AU- say AU1-3 in Aussie and Au4-6 in Asia.
