Bad News :( - Hiqhlights Goodbye Thread

So I go to Youtube and check out Hiqhlights new video and realize it said Perm Ban from MCSg and that he is leaving! This got me really sad. Knowing that one of my idols is leaving for just hasm BSM installed but not using it which is some all BS. Well anyways I don't want to start anything. So all I want to do is pay my respects and say Goodbye and Good Luck to Hiqhlights. He was probably one of the best Pvpers I have seen. So yeah! Goodbye Hiqhlights and good luck to you for what your future can hold so people please say goodbye to Hiqhlights1

I don't have sympathy towards hackers. Especially if they're dumb enough to record them having it, and upload it to youtube.
Also, what's the big deal? It's not like he was some big youtuber. He only had about 150 subs.

Some kid reported him for BSM. And I don't usually say kid, but I lost all respect for the person who reported him, therefore he is a kid.

He didn't use the bsm in the video, bsm is allowed on many other servers. For you to call him a hacker would be inaccurate and disrespectful.

You're calling somebody a kid as an insult?

And if somebody has a mod that is not permitted on our servers installed while playing on our servers, then anybody that viewed the video and noticed that should have reported it to a staff member. Just because Hiqhlights is your friend doesn't mean that people are not allowed report him.

And that's why you use multiple jars, just like I did when I wanted to play on servers which allowed BSM.

So if someone installs nodus, but does not use it, they shouldn't ban them? If there is sufficient proof of them being on a server with the mod, it's hacking, whether it was used, or not. He was likely not using it, sure, but he's to be treated like everyone else will be.

Just because he's high up on the Leader boards, or has 100+ subscribers on YouTube doesn't mean he isn't to be treated like anyone who's done so would be.

It's sad, definitely, he was a good player, and if he ended up having never used the mod on our servers, it really sucks, but there's nothing to be done.

He made the unfortunate mistake of uploading proof of him with the mod, and disciplinary actions were taken.
