Bad Pocket id

So, I tried logging in to a server and it keeps giving me Bad Pocket id's, my friend also had the same problem, can someone tell me if it's a problem on my end or if it's on the servers' end?

Bad packet id, not bad pocket id.

I'm pretty sure that it is a mojang issue as I am having the same error on all servers. There's nothing you can do about until mojang fixes it.

I've had this too. Is it only a US thing?

It usually goes away if you relog. Because of this, I don't mind it too much.
