Dxtory is the best. I am playing on 130 fps when I am not recording, and when I am recording with fraps it goes down to 30 fps, with Dxtory I don't lose any fps at all!

I luff Camtasia, but it is spendy. It's great for editing IRL videos, as well. Screen record is amazing.

I use fraps, and it works great, the only thing is that you should decompress the videos because the videos come out in gigabytes after recording. The files are huge.

Fraps from what I have heard from other people, I use bandicam

I dont always record but when I do I use Quicktime Player

And fraps. Both are garbage and crashy on windows 8 tho.
